that's a bit...scary but I suppose that's the point of it all. actually, it rather looks like the child-form of jason. if you've seen "freddy vs. jason", there's a scene where freddy is taunting the younger version of jason, in front of the real one *playing mind games on him* and that's actually what the face kinda looks like.
which would make sense I think for the doll. in a way they're kinda child-like just you know, not FOR kids haha

Honestly, I think he's the worst one they've done. I can see why they didn't limit you to one or two...I can't imagine that girls will want him. I'm sure there are some, but, still...I can't see him being a really big seller.  I think he WILL be a big seller. Maybe not with younger collectors who like the cuter dolls, but plenty of other people out there, including people who don't even collect LDDs but collect horror figures and memorabilia, will want to buy him. Personally, I don't like him, but I have to admit that he's incredibly well done and detailed. He's too gruesome for my tastes. He's all right with the mask but his face underneath it is gruesome! I like Jack the Ripper, because he's a cutie, and I like Hemlock & Honey and Toxic Molly, and Dawn (but she's cute, too!), because they're victims as opposed to psycho serial killers... I would just find it creepy to have him in my house. |
