i like deathrock like 45-grave, Christian Death, Joy Division etc.
and i like grind and crust: Code-13, F*ck...I'm dead, Anal C*nt, Anal Blast, Aus Rotten, Doom blah blah blah...
I like alot of music though, pretty much anything but new country and new rap (Johnny Cash pwns)

thats a very hard question.. its changing all the time.
i suppose its black metal or extreme gothic. bands like Cradle of Filth, Emperor, Behemoth and Bathory. I prefer black metal to death metal, as death metal can get very repetative after a while. Though so can black metal, such as Darkthrone. Still love it though.

mostly death and black metal but I also listen to some punk-r0ck, crust/grind, classical r0ck and more gothy music oh and of course other types of metal (doom metal, heavy metal.. but I aint so fond of nu-metal and viking stuff) alice cooper anorexia nervosa at the gates aus-rotten bathory bauhaus christian death dark funeral dimmu borgir misfits murderdolls my dying bride rotting christ the birthday massacre the ramones tool venom (to name only a few looking at my playlist  ) I like a lot so many bands.. I cant write r0ck normally without it becoming an image?  |

What is your favourite genre of music? Name some bands in that genre....educate us! Mine is probably Earth/Etheral Goth becuase of its folk and medieval aspects and its just pretty yet gloomy. some bands: Black Tape for A Blue Girl Dead Can Dance Adura Cocateu Twins Try Mediaeval Baebes...The Rose and Salva Nos CD's are awesome if you like that kind of music. |

alice cooper Ha, Alice Cooper is from Phoenix, where I live , and he has a radio show here every weeknight from like 8-12pm. It's sooooo friggin' funny. If you can get to a computer at that time, the radio station here is 93.3 KDKB...it's really great and he plays great tunes as well.!!  ~ I hate gangsta rap...well rap in general is just plain awful, it hurts my ears, all that bass, but I don't like the lyrics...or the objectification of women. It's disrespectful and disgusting.  I'm not tooo big a metal fan myself...my hubby is though, so I do hear it. He likes Entombed, Slayer, Kyuss, System of a Down, stuff like that. He also loves loads of other kinds of music. He has over 1,000 CD's. I like more ethereal, otherworldly music. like: Pentangle, Avalon Rising, Loreena McKennitt, Secret Garden, Three Weird Sisters, Rose Amoung Thorns, The Mediaeval Baebes, Blackmore Night and others like that. I also love old gothic music from the 70's and 80's. The original goth music, like: David Bowie, The Velvet Underground, Joy Division, New Order, Sisters Of Mercy, Bauhaus,The Killing Joke, Love and Rockets, The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Siouxie and the Banshees, THE SMITHS, Catherine Wheel, Depeche Mode, ...I could name 100 more such bands, but you get the idea... |

^^ Alice Cooper is awesome. As are most of the bands everyone listed. I like mainly metal, and all kinds of rock (alternative, punk, indie, garage, goth, hardcore, you got it.) I also like emo... not the whiney accoustic kind, more screamo (Like Senses Fail. They rock.) My fave. bands would have to be: Le Tigre (!!!!) My Ruin Jack Off Jill My Chemical Romance (I'm not gonna deny that I'm obsessed with them =P) Slipknot System Of A Down Ramones Anti-Flag Skinny Puppy Darkest Hour. I've got tons more, but I won't bore you |

My tastes are too eclectycke to even picke one genre.
Loreena Mckennitt (what the hell genre is she?)
Portishead (a dyfferent unnamed genre)
M83 (I'm most certain people would try to call them shoegaze, but theyr lyrics are too morbid to be that, plus they're French.)
the Ghostbusters soundtrack (needless to say, that's also genre-less)
Tullycraft (basically twee as fuck)
The Smiths (a cross between post-punk and 60s rock. the original "indie")
Pavement (a cross between twee and post-punk)
Radiohead (somehow, I've never heard anyone try to classyfy them with a genre. how about... post-electro post-punk prog-alt-indie?)
Regina Spektor (they call it anti-folk, I call it the insane ramblings of some rare person whose mind actually seems to work similarly to myne)
