My first were Tragedy & Misery minis :love: 23 at the time, only a little while ago - April actually - I quit smoking to start a collection LOL...  On September 26 it'll be 5 months that I havent had one (cold turkey)... yay  now thanks to Bob i'll finally be getting Misery my first love... HOORAY!!!!! :love: bob |

Congrats on your quitting! Though sometimes it does get hard, I have to admit, especially when I'm constantly around ppl that smoke (namely my parents!). I love Misery - I know hes a doll and this is going to sound like I'm a weirdo but he's a hot doll lmao  I think all the sneezing and lack of oxygen to the brain is finally starting to get to me...lol As far as my parents go they dont care too much either way. I bounce around when I get a new one and show them both - mum encouraged me to start collecting and so far has bought about half of my collection to give me a head start. So thanks to her I'm *almost* finished collecting all the minis... My dad just pretends to be interested - he did come into my room once to check them out, which suprised me but he didnt say much. He's not really one to stunt or encourage my weird and gory side ;D |

I still snaek a smoke now and again...sshhh. As for getting Misery, **YaY** he's great. I have both Tragedy & Misery 10" and the mini's. They are so cute. Such a great couple!!!  |

I'm SO jealous that you can get full size dolls just like that... They are even gonna stop selling them in my two local stores (and here "local" means the second biggest city in sweden) because they are too hard to get, or so they say...
And when I first started collectiong, I couldn't affors the full size dolls, so I first bought minis. My first one, and my only one for a long time, was Bedtime Sadie, who is still one of my favourites.

I feel really blessed. My mom buys me LDDS on occasion but she likes a few herself including Lulu, Sadie, and Lottie. In fact, that is what Drawn me to Kitty. She reminded me of my mom so much that I had to have her. Another good friend and boardie got Kitty for me and has since remained a special doll in my collection. :love: Strange I know but that is how I feel towards many of my ldds. Another is Cookie who came from my friends actual collection as a gift for my birthday. Oh im sounding cheesy! wow! its great listening to all these stories how people got into ldds and what was there first. its Cool! ;D |

Faith, in febuary, i bought her and got SOO addicted to them, i should have started earlyer, so I could gave gotten both versions of the lost, but i didnt.

My first doll was Inferno I paid 26.00 for her on ebay (opened) and then later sold her on Gothicauctions so I could purchase a sealed one.
