actually i have heard that a nipple piercing is one of the most painful ones to have done... but there are too many piercers here that do a crappy job (like being crooked, or not doing it properly etc) so I'm going to a doctor to get it done. He did my labret too ;D i guess that's the best thing to do. i went to a doctor to get my ears done and for my navel and tragus i went to a professional piercer. i didn't have any problems with my piercings at all ;D that's why i didn't get my other tragus done yet... i'm still looking for a good place [because i got the others in another city]. i'm not in a hurry... i prefer to be very careful with these things. i wouldn't like to pay for something done in a bad way or even worse: with no hygiene |

yeah i can definately understand that. I had a local anaesthetic (at no extra charge) when i got my labret done only so that i wouldnt move and that way he could take his time getting it right and I wouldn't fidget. So I plan to do the same with the nipple piercing. I had my belly ring done in a beauticians place and I paid for my mum to get hers done at a professional piercers place - mine turned out perfect and hers turned out crooked  I've come across alot of people who werent happy with their experience at this particular place since then. I had a lot of dental work (having had braces for two years) and so the pain isnt an issue but I know that when I get uncomfortable I fidget - I feel sorry for my dentist  lol so thats why I opted for the local. |

I only have four... one in my left ear, two in my right ear, and my belly button. I'm going soon to even out my ears.
I was thinking of getting my nose or eyebrow... but I get sick all the time, and a nose piercing wouldn't be fun with a runny nose... and because of my job, I may not be able to get my eyebrow done...

I'm all kinds of slow on this one but my parents are weird. technically they can't say anything because I'm 21 haha but I still listen to them and they are SO against piercings, which are removable and yet they love the fact that I want to get more tattoos it is soooo weird! |

lol that is pretty weird - especially when generally its the other way around. My dad cant stand either one so I hid the first mods lol@wearing a jumper through summer until I finally had the guts to just take it off and act like nothings new two tattoos and a belly ring were difficult to hide around the house! but then i decided after a long time to finally get my labret done, so i sat him down (i was 22 mind you but i live under his roof so i want to be *kindof* respectful to him...) and told him that I planned to get it done and I wanted to have it out with him before I got it done because I hadnt figured out a way to hide it... lol  Since then I've gotten my cover up done, which I've been hiding from him for the last month & a half - LMAO ;D |

i'm also one of those people who always gets caught... but i don't really have problems with my parents... my dad doesn't like both things but he doesn't say anything, and my mum likes piercings, but not tattoos. anyway i can't get a tattoo due to skin problems, so that's the end of the problem i can't get too many piercing because of my future job, plus i'm trying to get into a new university for one year & sadly first impressions are very important |

my piercings are:
1 in nose
4 in each ear
marilyn and belly button
ive had my nose pierced for about 15 yrs the marilyn one i had done in february, its one of my fave along with my nose stud, i have a small cystal stud in my marilyn one.
My ears have been done for around 20 odd years ( shit i sound ancient!) my belly button about 10 yrs

they didn't know that I was going to get it done, actually *I* didn't know either as I was just going to the tattoo place with a friend but I had the money on me and was like whatever I'll get it done. they called me while I was at the place and the conversation was kinda like this:
mom~ where are you?
me~ tattoo place, mary's getting a shamrock on her wrist
mom~ oh? and what did YOU get?
me~ I haven't gotten it...uh yet
hahahaha. they didn't really care, they thought it was going to be bigger and worse than what it was but in the end it's all good. I think that they think I won't ever get anything done but so help me whenever I get a job that's the first thing I'm saving up for haha.

I really want my tattoos to be fairly hidden, not for any particular reason but more like I get them done for me you know? however recently I've been toying around with the idea of getting an upper arm piece done, it'll be mostly traditional-style and say mom & dad on it. so maybe they won't be so mad when they see that ;D
I actually don't really want many piercings. I'm afraid of needles but for whatever reason tattoo ones don't bother me *go figure*. I'd like an industrial and I'm interested in a monroe and that's about it. I haven't got the body for the fun stuff =(

you dont need to have a particular body type for anything hun! I have issues with my body too, unlike other girls my issue isnt that I think i need to lose weight - I want to put it on! I'm a size 8-9 at the moment (and thrilled!) and people are always commenting on my great body when I'm a size 6-8. When i see my body that way i feel ill, i hate it. I feel so skeletal and unhealthy. Its so hard for me to gain weight - i cant even begin to explain how hard it is. I was at my worst during christmas - everyone noticed then just how bad it was - I was smaller than a six. now i have a pot belly - which jiggles  boobs (from an A to a big C cup), ass and thighs! I wear each and every part proudly and I cant wait to gain more. If anyone comments on how I'm starting to look pudgy I tell them I'm voluptuous and then i grab my love handles and laugh. I also want to point out that I used to have buck teeth and I was always teased by kids and adults too. I'd get comments like gee youve got a lovely body shame about your teeth. Ive since had braces. Now they cant complain about my teeth so they pick on my body, or my boobs or WHATEVER. People who harrass others about their bodies have issues about themselves... No matter what you do to change yourself theyll always find something to bitch about. That said get what ever fun piercings you like - like tattoos they're for you and no one else. If anyone has a problem with it tell them to get stuffed  |

haha that's awesome that you feel that way about yourself I've currently got braces, cannot wait to get them off to see my purty teeth ;D normally I'd say that I don't care about my body but I've put some weight on that I'm REALLY not happy about so I'm working on getting it off. I know that I won't ever be like stick-thin and that's fine with me, I think an hourglass figure is incredibly sexy and quite frankly I miss how mine used to be. so work work work I will to get it back hahaha. and unlike some people, I think my boobs are too big. I'd love to get a reduction but by the time I'll have the time I won't have my dad's insurance so I don't know if I'll ever get it done. |
