I agree they are quite lovely. They are dead and not supposed to look pretty. Poor dolls.

It seems like the only 'before' pictures were of the LDD. I really like Siren, and I think she kind of captured a few of the others, but they scream fashion doll to me. They're meant to be dead, that's how I like them... I guess they're pretty to look at though. If anyone is interested in a repaint of their own doll, they should put themselves on her mailing list, and be very quick to grab an opening. Artists like her though, will have a bill of over 100$ for a commission job, and that isn't including shipping. I've seen good customizers for more too. :x She seems to have taken her commission information down, so I dunno. Professional customizers don't replicate other's work too, so if you wanted an exact copy of a doll she's done, or someone else's I doubt she'd do it.  I'd love to have a Siren like that one though... |

shes SOO expensive though. gobniat and umina42, deborah and ruth both do great custom ldds as well  |

I agree that the dolls are meant to be "dead" or "evil" and that's how they should be. these are very pretty but I'm not sure I'd want one haha. in a way they remind me of porcelain dolls which freak me out...yes I adore LDD's but are scared of porcelain dolls, don't ask hahaha

I didn't mean to slam the artist. She does an amazing job. They are very pretty.
These dolls were created to not be pretty though. More and more I see LDDs being turned into cutoms and something else. That leaves fewer and fewer dolls out there for us to collect. I am not sure how many are made of each doll or if they still make past dolls. If there is a surplus then it's all good but I know alot of dolls I see redone are rare and expensive and it saddens me to see another changed and not able to be collected.
I know LDD is a popular base to use. There has to be another that would do just as well.
