I've been thinking

my birthday is next month and I'm trying to come up with what doll I'd like to ask for. I can't go too nuts though.

I have a pretty lengthly list of dolls that I want, some are pretty out there and I will most likely never have. others are still really new and accessible. I'm not really after having totally complete sets for each one either, I go after what I want. the only set I'm really trying to actively complete would be series 5 but even that's not really a biiiige deal at the moment just something that I'd eventually like to achieve.

at the moment there's nothing I feel a particular urge to go after. I mean, there's ones I want sure but it's more of a "I just want it" rather than "OMG I WANT!!111" if that makes sense.

so while looking over my want list I came up with an idea. how cool would it be to have all the dolls that are "50's-esque"? many of them seem to be; dottie rose, the psycho-billies, and upcoming arachne seem to be at least. I already have dottie, and will be planning to purchase arachne so me thinks it shall be the psycho-billies that I go after for my birthday.

and perhaps a mini-eggy. because she's just so damn cute and I'll never have a full size anyways. but we'll see.

I don't know if there was a real point to this but I just felt like sharing my idea haha.

here is what I've come up with *because instead of doing work at school I make lists about things like this hahaha*

these are the sub-sets I guess you'd call them, the groups of the dolls that I'll be putting them into whenever I get the proper shelving together.

hollywood:
series 5 complete, nosferatu & victim [GREAT classic horror movie, so classic it's silent haha]

girly-girls:
lulu, ST sadie, mildread, demonique

retro:
dottie rose, the psycho-billies, arachne

freakshow:
the great zombini & viv, sybil *to watch the show of course!*

ye olde days:
hollow, angus litlerot, the lost, faith and captain bonney


in order for me to do this I would need hollywood, siren, dahlia, nosferatu & victim, mildread, demonique, psycho-billies, arachne, the lost, and faith

which is a lot haha but I'm not going to just run out and get them all at once.

I pretty much decided that I am going to try to get nosferatu & victim for my birthday, and the psycho-billies for christmas. maybe a single doll for christmas as well.
