I love this. Who said this? i forgot to write the name "you can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you" - eric hoffer he has more great quotes: "someone who thinks the world is always cheating him is right. he is missing that wonderful feeling of trust in someone or something" "our sense of power is more vivid when we break a man's spirit than when we win his heart" "you can never get enough of what you don't need to make you happy" "the fear of becoming a 'has-been' keeps some people from becoming anything" "we lie loudest when we lie to ourselves" "we have perhaps a natural fear of ends. we would rather be always on the way than arrive. given the means, we hang on to them and often forget the ends" "the self-styled intellectual who is impotent with pen and ink hungers to write history with sword and blood" WOW!!! I love this guy. I've never heard of him...thanks!!!

The creatures looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again: but already it was impossible to say which was which." - George Orwell : Animal Farm these are ones off the top of my head.. i love placebo lyrics!! it reminds me something that i read somewhere: "...you know all my favorite singers have stolen all of my best lines..."

WOW!!! I love this guy. I've never heard of him...thanks!!! i'm glad you like him! more quotes: "can a heart still break after it's stopped beating?" - corpse bride
this one is more a joke than a quote, but i found it too funny so i wanted to share it ;D: "i understand that scissors can beat paper and i get how rock can beat scissors, but theres no fucking way paper can beat rock. paper is supposed to magically wrap around rock leaving it immobile? why the hell can't paper do this to scissors? screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people?? why aren't sheets of college-ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? i'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anyone, a rock would tear that shit up in two seconds. when i play rock/paper/scissors i always choose rock. then when someone claims to have beaten me with their paper i can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist and say "oh shit, i'm sorry, i thought paper would protect you. asshole"
"if dreams are like movies... then memories are films about ghosts" - counting crows
"the problem with learning from experience is, the test comes before the lesson"
