Marilyn Manson is coming out with a movie. It's called Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll:  www.imdb.com/title/tt0758775/fullcredits#castI gotta say I'm not a huge Manson fan but I'm excited about it cause I doubt American Mcgee's Alice will ever happen  and I'm a HUGE Alice fan. Its based on a book and I've heard good things about it, but I'm just glad Manson picked Lilly Cole to play Alice cause he stated he wanted "An actual English girl" cause his other choice was that WHORE Evan Rachel Wood. |

i looked it up on wikipedia for story line etc. and it does sound good =]
I'm not a big manson fan either, but the take on Lewis Carroll should be intersting.
It also says
"Manson has stated his aim for the project is to “redefine the horror genre” and bring it back to the days of “Polañski and Hitchcock”."
and
"Manson stated in June 2006 that he sees himself “as more a student of film than of music” and after Phantasmagoria is planning a trilogy of films retelling three Edgar Allan Poe stories."
hopefully they'll all turn out to be good films =]

Update: After manson releases his new album "The high end of low" hell they will be working on phantasmagoria. the new album's first video for the tune "I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies." is " nine minutes long," he says. "Severely sadist. Basically, it's murder, sex, death, the end."
so phantasmagoria is now officially coming out in 2010

I'm torn between my undying love of horror films and my immense dislike of Marilyn Manson. I either want to watch it really bad or I want to avoid it really bad, and I can't decide which.  |

I say that Alice + Horror is like two positives and the negative would be Manson therefore you should watch it or at least watch the begining and then leave if you cant stand it
