Ok... Last wednesday I turned on the Simpsons at 5pm using the remote control. Our TV is in the sunroom which is a long room added on the back and is the length of the entire house. On one side of the room there is our sofa which is kind of C shaped but squared at the corners, the TV, a few end tables and plants on teh shelves along the wall that is glass. The door that enters the room is behind one side of the sofa and to the right (opposite the living area)is a weightbench, drafting table and lots and lots of plant related items, and a drum kit. I rarely go into that part of the room unless I am petting my cat. And even then she usually sits under the tree that is next to the back/side of the sofa.
The remote was missing until this afternoon. I remember using it last. As i said I turned on the Simpsons and i tossed it into a blanket that was laying on the sofa. I tore apart the whole living side of the room looking, checked my desk in here, checked the kitchen table, no go. Today my roomie found it... behind a plant on the far side of the room wedged between the window and the BIG pot the plant is in.
I think I am going insane... HOW DID IT GET THERE?? our cat's aren't clever enough to hide, nor do they have thumbs that would allow them to pick the thing up. it's just too weird.

hmmmm that IS wierd! I used to get so freaked out becuase my TV would be normal and then all of the sudden it would go crazy changing chanels at crazy speeds like 5 different channels in five seconds....and it always seemed to go to the paid per view playboy channels and spanish soap operas...i swear! when i say this im being 100% honest! it was scary

I have had the dubious luck of being able to feel and often see spirits, its something i grew up with and was probably helped in the later years by the fact our family home is haunted.
( i once saw a great grea aunt of mine go through the wall into what would have been the sewing room in the old days before my dad renovated the house)
I have had things move in my flat only to appear else where and i live alone!
I get from time to time spirits in my flat but they arent around all the time, at one point they were moving things all over the place, i have OCD and when it was at its worst, i used to wake up to all my cds half out of the cd rack, my cushions on my sofa all messed up ( and being a sufferer of OCD id never go to bed with out everything being all lined up properly!)
My sis has on occasion had what i call a "fairy" she has had things moved about some things she had in front of her she took her eyes off them and they are gone only to turn up the next day in the exact same place she left them and had been looking for them. She also has a young girl spirit who sits in the corner of her bedroom, i also saw her one nite when i stayed there she was sat on the end of the bed and when i got up to go to the loo, i nearly fell over her and freaked myself out LOL
My sis doesnt usually feel or see them, but shes seen *Ruby* who she named the spirit as her cat is called Milly ( get it ? LOL)
My mother comes from a long line of ppl who could see and feel spirits and also have pregoniton (sp?)visions.
My dad has a strange link to me where he knows when something bad has happened and needs to see me tho i have to say Januarys events didnt register with him until my mum called him.
I can be heard on occasion telling off any visiting spirit in my flat when they are being bothersome by moving things about, usually if something is missing all i have to do is ask for it to appear to me and it does, quite handy tho it doesnt seem to work with my missing peace of mind!
