This isn't the first time I've heard this but I've never seen any verification of this -- where are people paying that much for her? Is it ebay?
She doesn't seem like a must have doll...it's so hard to predict sometimes.

Doc. What I think is someone really wants a certain doll and pay whatever it takes to get her on E-Bay then everyone else see what price she is bringing then all of a sudden she is the hot one to by. It all started with The Lost and see what happed. The White one is way out of price and now the black one is catching up. Just My thoughts.  |

I think there's usually one per series, isn't there? The problem is people see who's popular and sell at jacked-up prices on ebay... A lot of people are outside America and their only way to get the dolls is online, so they have to be willing to pay for it.. I'm glad I got my versions of The Lost early, because I had to have them both...

For recent series dolls it's not so hard to get them outside the US. But US prices are cheaper...for a higher priced doll often cheaper even with shipping. So people sometimes buy from the US for that reason. But I'm not sure why Mildread would be so high. Obviously someone really wants her.
