Night
Sitting in a bed,
of earth’s dust among the trees
Painting the skies with youthful cries,
Of long lost memories
For the night is a listless creature,
embracing me most carefully
With his caressing lies and luring eyes,
with a smile, that you can not see.
Dancing in the house of his
I’m bounded by a reverie.
The darkness densely falls,
As the shadow crawls
And the winds chant elegies
Watch him raise his voice to sing,
the swirling currents of energy
Till the night, is poisoned by
whispers from the lips of brighter things
The spirits hold my secrets
which are colorless and drifting through
Flowing with the wind
His thoughts, which lure me in
Telling me things I never knew.
Such a desired presence
wraps his arms around me tight
He will never tell my secrets
drifting right through the night
Beneath the haze he lurks,
composing a portrait of distress
Behind the divine, of the misty night
Or a black cloud in the forest.
Moonlight falls
Above the highest branch,
And floats through out the air
I feel his breath, upon my neck;
Though I can not see him there
We dance until the rays of light,
dig through our buried truth
In the unearth it revives a dearth
Found, drowned, in the fountain of youth
It rocks just like a cradle,
But holds me in a grave
Creating screams and drinking dreams,
I am this darkness’s slave.
Holding on tight till the light,
Wills my love away.
Sadden thoughts, cause the leaves to rot
And the brightened world turns gray.
They were afraid looking in his eyes,
For then they, became his prey
Time lasting longer, as he grew stronger
and slowly shrank the day
Pleasing his many wants,
They couldn’t love his black heart’s shape
They saw through their nightmare
A man, who turns love into rape
Sitting in a bed,
of earth’s dust among the trees
Painting the skies with youthful cries,
Of long lost memories
For the night is a listless creature,
embracing me most carefully
With his caressing lies and luring eyes,
