And it's amazing the way your screams can cut so clearly through the night. Resounding over and over again like a knife plunging into warm flesh and cutting an artery. The way the pitch rises and falls is the blood splattering in irregular patterns on the walls. And when it's over the stars are still shimmering above you, mirroring the diamonds in your eyes as you listen to your own voice echo softly off the mountain ridges like the soft drip of crimson sliding languidly down the wall as I set my cleaver down.
Is it over?
No, love, it's only just begun.
