So for The schoolwork in English we had to make a list of things. I made a list of these things:
Kimi (An Important person) Muffins (don't ask) Mental Hospital (A place you never want to be) A Smaller God (A song, also ties into Kimi) Ashley (my cat)
And here's the metaphors:
Kimi is the broken angel that rose up from the burning ashes to envelope me into her arms an stop me from spiralling down to her.
My banana and chocolate chip muffins are the methamphetamine that keeps my skin crawling and my heart beating.
The mental hospitals are The Cemetary to me, broken but where the heart is.
A Smaller God is my reality, I could've died but I was saved by a smaller god.
My cat is the surpressed psychosis within me.
Do you think that these are acceptable for school or should I choose a new topic?

I think it should be ok, I once wrote a poem about I guy on drugs, his wife was killed then he shot himself. My teacher liked it...but anyway, They're really good and should be fine.
