I may submit this for teen-ink publishing but im not sure. tell me in honestu please...


Delusions

Eyes turn iron and the tears stir thunderstorms.
How the sunlight dies and the laughter cries,
When you have nothing call your own.
You roam alone.

Your face has been smothered with confusion,
Don’t let it show on your body’s sign
That the pain’s corroding your entire mind.
What’s happened your idyllic delusion?

And as the darkness washes out the room
Creeping it dancing upon your eyes
Though the mirror doesn’t blink,
It screams the words you’ll never learn to say

This cosmic glass; a fearful thing
Dries out your veins— just to shrink away inside
Twisting your utopia into oblivion
And the thoughts fall elusively
Slipping away

Hitting with a forceful elegance
To the broken glass
Of tear filled eyes and remnants of masqued imaginings
Vigorously it penetrates back at you
Sinking deep into sand-box mind
Where the shadows play

Though the mirror doesn’t blink,
It screams the words you’ll never learn to say
In a summary its reflecting your eternal self hate

it's really good stephie. i think you should submit it. it just seems like there are a lot of big words....it sorta reminds me of how an adult would write......that's a good thing tho. it's really mature and you get across some great points and meanings
