This is a poem about my boyfriend, Josh, who I love sosososososo much. That wasn't really necessary information but he just makes me so happy I can't contain it. Anyway, the poem :-


Since I met you
I've been living a dream,
Life is beautiful again
It would seem.
Being in love
Never felt so intense before,
And I each time I see you
I just love you more.
We belong together,
In my heart it feels right
When I'm in your arms
And you hold me close and tight.
In my head there's no worries,
I've left them behind,
you're all I can think about;
You've taken over my mind.
Only someone so amazing
Could have this effect,
With your love
My life is perfect.

thats beautiful eve! like vampyre said...i find that rhythm and such is only needed for education reasons...like writing classes with bad teachers *cough* im sorry. i hate my writing class. your poetry is about you, you write it for you. its beautiful becuase of that, so dont worry about rhythm. i can however try to give you some constructive crtitisim if youd like though...

I would try, not worrying about rhyme too much at all. i havent got any suggestions that are worth explaining, but ill have a go at reformatting the poem so you have an idea of other ways it could read nicely as well.

I am more certain
That we belong together,

It feels so right, to be in your arms
when you hold me close.
And In my head
There are no worries,
