Righty, here's how it goes-
I'm not really one for showing off my "art" cause I don't have enough time to do any fun stuff, and because it would feel like showing off an english essay or something...but I thought you might like to see what I'm currently upto at uni (I'm doing a pre-degree diploma in theatrical prop design)
We were given the title "The Seven Deadly Sins" and told to pick one, and look into it, explore it, and finish off by making a mask based on that sin. I chose Pride/Vanity, and decided to base it around Cosmetic surgery horrors (Like Pete Burns, Wacko Jacko, Bride of Wilderstein, etc)
At the moment, I've only made the clay original that will be casted in plaster, then into latex for further work (tinting, painting, stitching etc) so it looks very plain, but you can kinda get the idea from the shape of it. I've also bought a load of syringes and needles to stick into the final piece in the cheeks, mouth, forehead, etc. and it's going to be worn with crepé bandages covering the join and possibly a big blonde wig on top of that (if I find one tomorrow)
