From my new fantasy series, Of Atlantis, released this fall
Seems I have no choice, in the destiny life chose for me
Not that I really mind, I have never thought about a life of my very own
I was born and bred, to a destiny chosen long ago for me
I will step into the shoes, of the chosen, once I am grown.
Don't ask me, how I know the things, I do
Like one day, I know, I will face ultimate evil face to face
To eliminate it, from earth, protecting all, and only a chosen few, will know what I do
It is my pre ordained destiny, to save mankind, the human race.
The evil I must destroy, it feeds on destruction, just making the source stronger
But I also know, it is my fate and destiny, to destroy this parasite
In my very being, I know this thing I must face and not deter
To destroy this cancer upon the earth, it will take all my might.
I will stand strong and stead fast, I know I must never be afraid
By my nemesis, to him, that could appear as a weakness
Thinking this is a doorway, to defeat me, this evil may raid
Showing me evil, thinking I will crumble to it's ungodly bliss.
All this, I have known all my life and even when I was a child
Knowing this evil is why my parents had to die
But their death will not be in vain, I have every reason to stomp this thing, my wraith will not be mild
In my entire life, I have never had to question why.
My fate, my destiny, fore told, long before the dawn on mankind
This thing, I must destroy, he thinks he knows all about me
But I have a few tricks up my sleeve, I must never allow him to get into my mind
I will destroy this evil, then mankind, from this will be as safe as can be.
