Each night, I watch you from next door, from afar
It is so strange, that no on seems to know anything about you
Each night I see you in your yard, as dependable as a night time star
I really want to meet you, but as to how, I haven't a clue.
So strange, I have never seen you in the light off day
But next door, at night, things seem to be very active
I just take it as the night is the time you like to work, you like to play.
I find it an honor, that next door to you I live.
So masculine, very attractive, I really like what I see
I just hope I can muster the courage, to see to it you know about me
Every time I see you, my face lights up with a smile, as your appearance fills me with happiness and glee
I honestly think, if I got with you, I would never flee.
So on this night, I muster up the courage, deciding tonight, I will introduce myself to you
Right now it is twilight, the curtain of night will soon fall
I know you will then be in your yard, right on cue
Then there you are, so your name I call.
I know you hear me, because you look directly at me
Your tall, masculine build, I can't think of anything to say
I just hope you like what you see, when you look at me
It's all I can do to find the courage to introduce myself, and say hey.
You start walking toward me, my heart beating very fast from the anxiety
Walking toward me, you start to smile when you see my face
But what I see, well it just can't be
I see on the side of your mouth a drop of blood, wiping your face, from my view this you try to erase.
