We just built a very expensive new house, but I don't like the location, that was chosen
On this land used to live Sharon Tate, I'm sure you know who she was
She was the one murdered by Charles Manson, the most evil of men
Her and the others murdered that night, the reason of the murder, stupid, a loss of like, no sense of this ever made.
A few punk kids doing the will of a man that was totally insane
I was only eleven at the time, but I remember the murders well
I still have trouble trying to accept what Charles Mason, thought he had to gain
Sharon Tate and her party were chosen because of where they choose to dwell.
The house that was here, is now long gone
But it was chosen, because Manson knew some one that used to live there
Now on this land is my home. and at times, I am chilled to the very bone
The violence of those deaths are imprinted within the land, so we try to ignore the things we know that are there.
Sometimes during the night, I hear a voice sounding like it says take
I know it is female, and I can feel my very hair as it stands on end
I think it is Sharon Tate, begging for the life of her unborn child, begging for the life of her child, so death it would not take
Then another disembodied voice, female, sc teaming sounding like it is saying, why all this blood, is this really what to us you meant to send?
Jay Sebreng, Abigail Folger, they were some of the unfortunate victims that night back in sixty-nine
I know they mean me no harm, but at times the air here feels so intense
Their deaths were so violent, of this I need no one to me to remind
I know within the land, their spirits remain, not joining the light, as of what happened to them, they still try to make sense.
I really don't think these spirits will rest, until Mason suffers the fate he implemented on them
Yes he got life in prison, but I think they want him to come out and play with them
Them wanting maybe, to give a little of their hell back to him
Until then, though I'm afraid these lost souls won't find the light, until Manson dies, the future of the lost souls look rather dim.
