After Rah finishes his journey through the sky, then the Egyptian night starts
From one of the many mastabas, across the infinite Egyptian sands
This is the time I arise, when I'm alive, the blood coarses through my veins, and once more a beating heart
All are aware of me, most people fear me all through out the Egyptian land.
I was bitten many years ago, by the bat that would forever change my life
Making me a member of the undead, destined to roam the beautiful Egyptian night
The loneliness, being so different, only adds to my title, vampire, all the strife
My future, my very existence, well it doesn't look very bright.
On the nights that are so warm, I roam as I try to find easy prey
Someone that would not put up much of a struggle, as I take from them the life force, I so desperately need
Usually I sneak up on my prey, they don't even have time to make a comment or a say
I pray the Egyptian Gods forgive me, as I have to commit such horrible deeds.
I have been cursed for such a very long time
I am tired, I have to roam these sands forever as one of the undead
Most people know of me, so everything around me is as silent as a mime
The things I must do so my unquenchable thirst may be fed.
Whether you be royalty or a slave, it makes no difference to me
No matter what class you are, the color of the blood remains the same
When I pick a victim, no matter how hard they try from me they can never flee
If you are out at night, you chance with me to play my game.
I am older than the Sphinx, itself, I even remember so long ago, watching as it was built
I never asked for this hell on earth that found it's way to me
For what I do, Osirus forgive me, because in this damned soul, I feel remorse and guilt
If someone would just stop me, so from this damned existence from this thing, I could forever flee.
