how many shows have you been to? which was the best ever?

the very first concert I ever went to was marilyn manson, on november 16, 2000. it was amazing because it was my first show ever and it was my favorite band so I loved it. on the same note, one of the BEST shows I've seen them put on was november 21, 2004. I almost got backstage for that one as well haha. I got to meet him afterwards which was amazing as well.

but probably the BEST was this past NIN show, on may 18th. I waited 11 years to see them and didn't expect to even get into the show at all but I did and it was simply the greatest thing ever since whipped frosting.

next up for me is system of a down in august. a very very dear friend of mine is coming to visit and go to the show with me which makes it all the more exciting. there's also another NIN date for me in november

I forgot to answer my own questions.
I've lost count of how many shows I've been to, the number is probably between 15-20.

awww that's okay! I went to my first show alone, I've gone to a couple by myself, it's not that bad. the best thing to do is to make friends with those around you because sometimes they end up helping you out later on in the night

Download was the best of the three It was SO amazing! And we were touched by 2 members of Slipknot.....and apparently we were on the big screeens and on Tv during their set too

i couldn't even begin to count all the shows iv'e been too. I'm fortunate enough to live about 3 blocks away from a great cheap concert venue, that has shows EVERY friday saturday, and sometimes sunday and during the week...it pwns.

I'm debating whether to see Cradle Of Filth in Concert, I'm skint at the moment but tickets won't be too expensive.

I'm going to be seeing system of a down in august because a friend of mine REALLY wants to go and it'll be the first time meeting in person so I'm going. not the HUGEST fan of their's but I'm sure it'll be a great show.

everyone keeps telling me that, I caught a showing of one of their concerts on MTV2 one night and it looked fun. I ended up with pit tickets to sooo hopefully I'm not killed either

OMG..I've been to soooo many shows it's disgusting. But then again I am 30yrs. old. My first concert was when I was 10..It was John Cougar Melloncamp and it was sooo much fun.
Then when I was 16 my b-day gift was 4 tickets to see INXS with the Soupdragons opening. I went with my 3 best friends. Then after that I saw The Cure(4x's) Depeche Mode (3x's)MORRISSEY (3x's) and soo many other bands..um Blur (2x's),The TrashcanSinatras, BB King, LOADS of music festivals, Live, Toad The Wet Sprokett, Suede,The Cranberries, Bauhaus, Beastie Boys, The Sugarcubes(4'xs) Peter Murphy, U2 about a million times., The Rolling Stones, The Pixies, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Tom Petty, I go the Coachella Music & Arts Festival every year it's been going on so I've seen god knows how many bands...I saw Blue Man Group there, as well as Souxie and the Banshees, Radiohead, Beck, Gomez, Ben Harper, The Beta Band, Cake, Queens of the StoneAge, The Charlatans....
I've seen Sheryl Crow a bunch. I went to every single Lilith Fair and loved it. I even went to Lalapolooza from it's birth year of 1991 ~NIN, Fishbone, Souxie Soux, The Violent Femmes, Rollins Band,. In 1992 it was a GREAT linup~Main Stage: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, Lush, Jim Rose Circus, Porno for Pyros, . 1993 was good too~ Primus, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr., Fishbone, Arrested Development, Front 242, Babes in Toyland, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Then in 1994 it got really good again~ Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, George Clinton & the P.Funk All-Stars, The Breeders, A Tribe Called Quest, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, L7, Boredoms, Green Day, Side Stage: The Flaming Lips, the Verve, The Boo Radleys,. 1995 & 1996 were ok.Some good bands...Cocteau Twins, Violent Femmes again, but nothing worth paying $$$ for.
Those are just to name a FEW of the gigs I've been to.

* But Seriously, this list could and would take pages to fill. Suffice it to say I like live music.

And actually I'm going to see Oasis (cough) this Sunday . They're my friends fav band and I'm the only one who'll go with her to see them.(3rd time)
I just bought tickets to see Beck on Oct 28th and Depeche Mode are coming in November. It's gonna be great. Concerts a-go-go...sssswweeeeettt.

WOW that's awesome! and I cannot begin to describe how jealous I am that you've seen depeche mode AND the cure! I reallllly want to see depeche mode but they're playing in atlantic city and I have no way there so I can't go =/ and I missed the last time the cure was here which I'm still kicking myself in the ass for.

in october I have:
14th: my chemical romance with alkaline trio [my second time for MCR]
19th: the bravery
31: the cruxshadows [second time for them] this isn't really a concert though, it's a special night at the club and they're playing

november:
1: avenged sevenfold
5: NIN!!!! [for the second time]
