I just got the "Horror of Beauty" CD by my ruin. its amazing album...i must say those chicks will have NO voices in a year! Ive neaver heard girls with such metal growley vocals, but i lurve em!

tairrie b. is a GODDESS, I love her music. I need to get their other albums though, I only have "speak & destory" and "prayer under pressure..."
I think my favorite is her duet with jessicka from jack off jill/scarling in "miss ann thrope"

yeah it sounds GREAT, the combination of tairrie's raspy voice with jessicka's angelic one it really worked out wonderful.

Hey... other people who like My Ruin. It's about time I meet others that do. My boyfriend only some what likes them because of my making him listen to them. I love them. I wish they'd tour a bit closer to my area... wishful thinking I suppose.
Actually, on myspace... there's a band called The Art of Safecracking. They sound nothing like My Ruin, but one of the originals from MR is in that band. They've got a nice sound.

YAAAAYYYYY I saw My Ruin in concert for the first time last night and they ROCKED The good thing was they played at a venue just a few miles away from where I live. They were as loud as I expected them to be and Tairrie looked even more gorgeous in the flesh than in her pictures  Apparently the band are bringing out their first ever dvd this year so can't wait for that ! |
