use your judgement when posting on the calendar
any posts saying things like "my marching band concert" or "my knitting class" will be deleted (sorry) but it gets really crowded down there...if you want to tell us about going on holiday, post a topic (dont feel like its too random or too short...its not!)

...unless you are 100% serious about inviting us to your knitting class....and even then...it may be deleted.
Post concerts and meetups and other events ect(an event that concerns more than just you)...just use good judgment.
as for birthdays...I am the admin; thus I know all...birthdays included! If need be I can PM with others about your birthday...
