lmao! wouldnt that be an awesome party trick?! If I could do that I'd go door knocking in my street to freak people out! gothgrl I have to agree with you about tattoos being an ongoing process and it being a *window* into your soul - thats what I like so much about this piece. I had a butterfly to begin with to symbolise metamorphosis, I feel like I've gone through so many things and that I've constantly had to change because of them (I know it must sound corny to you guys) and when I saw this design with the eye I thought that the eye would be the *window* to see why I've had to change so much and if you look deep enough you can see the person I used to be. My evolution :love: lol I must sound like a hallmark card (or worse - some kind of cliche). ktina I love your tattoos! - they are a couple of the best LDD tats I've ever seen  I have considered getting the second done but I don't think I will... I think just the one on its own suits my purpose. I have seen several tattoos like this one (most of which are also from the same line of David Bollt flash) but theres only one or two that I think are really gorgeous and well done. I've seen some that do no justice to the design whatsoever, which is a real shame. This is the only colour piece i'll ever have - anything else will be black work. i would love to have some pieces of art on my skin... but unfortunately i can't due to some allergies  so i love seeing pics of yours!!  Aww hun  maybe you could look into something that isnt permanent... like henna or something similar? That way you can alternate have a different artist every month on you! |

I don't have a closeup, because my friend took the pic and only that one pic, but i will try to get her to take another one.
I found the fairy on internet and modified her a bit. I don't know who did the original pic, but it's not amy brown, i checked...

Oh My God! All of your tattoos are so beautiful. i want one so bad but my mum said no until i'm 17-18. I'll probably get something on my shoulder blades. What i reall want is beautiful wings that cover my whole back but it'd be too expensive  . oh well. i'll get something ;D. |

how old are you? i think you should wait til about 18, that's a good age to know what you want, and if you find something out that you wanna put on your back, then you have time to think abput it and get used to it. i waited for years until i got mine, first half a year (my birthday's in february and I started planning it seriosly the summer I was 17, I's wanted to get one since I was 14 though, but i knew i couldn't get one then) for turning 18, the legal age for being an adult (getting tattoos without parental permission, driver's licence, drinking, buying cigarettes, etc.), then I waited two years  for making enough money in a month for both spening and saving. It should be easy, I know, but I study, so I only work at summer, and after the first summer I was still in school so I had to spend my money on neccesary stuff, the second summer, after my graduation, I didn't have a job in the fall, so I needed the money to live on the entire fall and winter. But then, after last summer, I had a little money left, and I did my precious fairy  It wasn't very expensive, it cost about 150 euro... But it seemed much at the moment, the colour made it more expensive. And I got an idea about the wings, if you think they'll be too expensive, make smaller wings, like Sarah in The Crow: City of Angels. At least the size is good, if you don't like the design... So...think about it, and it'll be great the day you actually get it! ;D |
