  [look how puffy and swollen I am haha] I'm so happy, I just got these done a couple hours ago! I'm having an allergic reaction to the tape that was used to cover them which sucks but it'll go away soon. and these HURT, my first tattoo didn't hurt at all but these were pretty painful especially in certain places. the reason behind these was that my cousin marty was covered in tattoos and he had a spiderweb taking up his entire outer left elbow. he died in august of 2000 and I promised myself that one day I'd get a spiderweb, kinda in memory of him. I know that he would be so happy that I'm into tattoos and stuff. to make it more personalized and tailored to myself, I had stars put in the center of each one. eventually I might get a color added into it just so it's not so black haha. oh, and they look REALLY dark now but the artist promised me that they would lighten up, like the lines will stay black but all the shading will lighten up. so hopefully it does haha. the tattooist was pretty cute too =X I certainly didn't mind him holding my hands for 45 minutes hahaha WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!  |

here's what it looks like a couple days later, much clearer image. it's a little grayish but that's because I've started to scab up *and ITCH* but other than that I'm doing great and love them. it's been weird adjusting to something that's right there on my arms but I adore them...I better, they're stuck on me forever hahahaha =P  |

oh! and thank you guys so much! I've been getting so many compliments on them, I'm really happy that people seem to like them. I didn't get them for anyone but myself, however it's always nice to hear that people appreciate your art, especially the art you carry with you 24/7. I designed these myself, and the meaning behind them is dear to me, so it's an even deeper attachment to them.
