get yourself a cheap pattern or download one online and practice on old sheets or old material until you are confident enough to try it out on decent fabric
theres quite a few free doll patterns online that will be good to try out

Ive been practacing and im still such shit. Im so embarrsed. I may try one out though
I really hope klara starts that handmade LDD clothing buisness of hers!

its not too hard once you have cut out the pieces, Im terrible at following patterns if they are too complicated, so i tend to just make things fit my own way. But having basic patterns such as skirts/trousers/tops is good, from there you can make a whole range of clothes. I make clothes for my 6" porcelain doll repaints, from a basic pattern of a skirt and a top, using different trims and material makes them different every time. Also if sewing is whats causing you grief, try using fabric glue on dolls clothes, i use it all the time on clothes that are so small, it would be a pain to sew!
