[it's messy but I've since organized it haha]
[all laid out]
look #1: shimmery white w/ red
used: maybelline 3-in-1 coverup & l'oreal true match foundation in alabaster
milani eyeshadow in moonlight [shimmery white]
bloody mary 'rebel' eyeshadow in red
rimmel eyeliner in black
max factor's 2000 calorie mascara
1. prime face for makeup by applying foundation or coverup as needed. it helps the eyeshadows to stick better and last longer. it also makes the colors a little brighter.
2. apply the white shadow from the lashline up to crease, making sure to concentrate it more along the lashline and gradually fading into the crease. also apply some to the browbone, underneath your eyebrow. this will cause some contrast and make your eyes really pop, as well as the colors you're using. make sure to use only a small amount here, you don't want all of it to blend together and be one tone.
3. apply a small amount of the red along the bottom lid, or lashline. sometimes this can be irritating so see what works for you. it may not come out as RED, more of a pink as mine did but that's okay.
4. add a tiny bit of red to the top inner lid, blending it into the white.
5. apply eyeliner and mascara. don't forget to curl your lashes! it really makes a huge difference.
look #2: green and blue
used: maybelline's 3-in-1 coverup as a base for my eyelids
milani eyeshadow in limbo lime [green], blue ice [blue] and moonlight [shimmery white]
rimmel eyeliner in black
max factor 2000 calorie mascara
1. prime face for makeup. I've been avoiding using coverup or foundation all over my face simply because I'm using different things to clear up my skin and I'm trying to not aggravate it. so in this case I simply put some coverup on my eyelids. it helps the eyeshadows to stick better and last longer. it also makes the colors a little brighter.
2. apply green all over lid, making sure to concentrate it more by the lashline and gradually fade out towards the crease. I made a little bit of a cat-eye flare to the outer edge.
3. apply a small amount of the blue to the bottom eyelid. I go along my waterline but this can irritate some people so just do what feels best. I also followed the cat-eye of the top but not as dramatically.
4. brush some of the shimmery white, or a matte white shadow, along the browbone, underneath your eyebrow. this will cause some contrast and make your eyes really pop, as well as the colors you're using.
5. line eyes with black eyeliner, curl lashes and apply mascara
6. for an extra finish, line the top lid with a metallic liquid liner. wet-n-wild makes really great ones in blue and green. I was too lazy to do this tonight =X if I end up getting around to it I will edit the post and add in that photo.
I'll try to do some more of these tutorials, they're fun =)
