Make-up colors:
Do use pink — it looks good on everyone. Teens should use make-up that is "pretty, pastel, and sheer."
Lips:
Do use a sheer lip-gloss. Do use lip liner that is the color of your lips. If you have to blend your liner, it is the wrong color. Do wear lip-gloss if you do have braces. It will keep your lips moist and pretty, drawing attention away from your braces.
Foundation:
Don't wear foundation all over the face. Do find a foundation color that "disappears" on your face, and use this to cover just your blemishes.
Eyebrows:
Do start tweezing your eyebrows at about 12-years old — but only a little bit. Do visit a professional the first time you shape your eyebrows. Don't fill in your eyebrows with a color that is darker that your hair color.
Eyeliner:
Don't use black or liquid eyeliner, and don't line the entire eye. Do use a mahogany eyeliner, or a shadow as an eyeliner. Line the top lid close to the lashes.
Glasses:
Do look for smaller frames. Do use a frame shape opposite from the shape of your face.
Black Teens:
Don't use light colored foundations and translucent powder.
Asian Teens:
Don't use a pink foundation, it will make you look like an artificial doll. Don't use skin-whitening creams. Do use a smudged, smoky liner on the eyes for enhancement.
Latin Teens:
Do be careful of using strong color - it tends to come across very strong on their skin. Don't use fuschias or reds. Do use plums and roses.

I use pink ALOT....i love pink whoopsies... I do: a) foundation...a skin tone lighter than my own b) a bit of blush...a pinky but not too pink c) baby powder...not all over my face; just on outer cheekbones, under eyebrows how come everyone can cover thier blemishes...mine dont cover I used to have thick eyebrows and got them done when i was 11 then got lazy and then started up again a little but when i was 14 i decided to go THIN becuase I wasnt daring enough to shave them off to pencil them in (i love the look) and now ive grown them out a bit but they are still thin...but nice " I like using THIN black eyeliner on the bottom and pale blue or purple in the crevice of my eyes (makes the whites of your eyes look whiter) Somedays i just do crap...like i line my eyes with hot pink lipstick or blood red...or do tear smudging...but i only do this sort of thing once in a while DONT SAY THE "G" WORD! I relaxed my hair once with "just for me" black childrens hair relaxer...that stuffs the shit.... I dont know what gave me the idea to do this given...I dont have "black hair" I strongly dissagree..... If you want to go Gothic Lolita or Fruit than definetly use all the makeup tips she stated not to!
