This is going to sound bizzare, and even a little pathetic! Everyone I've seen on here, and in a lot of pictures and stuff have like really awesome make-up!
How do you do really dark liner and stuff? Like...how do you apply make-up in general?
er...
yeah..
How?

The best thing I ever did for myself was learn how to use liquid eyeliner. It takes practice and a lot of dirty washcloths in the end, but pratice makes perfect, and it's MUCH bolder than stick. I love it and wouldn't want it any other way.

If you do use stick/pencil eyeliner..burn the end a little bit and let it cool...goes on a lot darker. I personaly dont like liquid so Ive been using pencil eyeliner for 6 years now. It takes a lot of practise to make fine lines and such...I wasnt so good when I first started and now its very simple.

That's really talent for using a stick. I've also found that it doesn't matter on the price you pay for eyeliner. As long as you practice, the 99 cent ones are just as good as the 40.00 ones. Now eyeshadow, in my opinion, is a different story. I'm only allowed to go to Mac once a year... Hubby's orders... Hehehehe.

deadsicgirl~ I absolutely love your eyeliner, I wish I could do mine in the inner like that but I think my eyes are too close together or something. phaedra~ DEFINITLY practice. I just posted some pictures over in the makeup section of me playing around with a really dark eyeliner and I stink at it haha. and what I did post, took a few wet q-tips to make the edges as [craptastically] defined as they were. I'm going to give it another try this weekend because I want to have really neat eye makeup for a concert in a couple weeks. just experiment! what works for one person sometimes doesn't work for another, and you'll develop your own method for doing things. aesthetictears~ mac *drools* I haven't gotten anything from them yet, I just can't decide! there's a store here in philly and sometimes I have to make myself either walk past it really fast or just not at all for fear that I'll just spend everything in there haha. their eyeshadows look amazing. have you tried milani yet? for a drug store-ish brand they're pretty good. I'm obsessed with this one shade of their's called "moonlight" which looks like a plain white shadow, but when on the skin it comes out this crazy shimmery-almost purple color, see: I love it so much that it went on clearance a couple weeks ago and I bought the last one for like fifty cents.
