I'm in such a great mood today...for the first time in daaays I'm not feeling completely ill *I was really sick for like the last four or five days =(* and I made my first ever mac makeup purchase which certainly calls for the happy dancing bunny. I got five eyeshadows and I've already plotted which five I want to get next haha. I don't know what's more addicting, LDD's or makeup.
ANYWAYS! here's the look I did for today. I was bored a little while ago and experimented.
okay well it's been awhile, but here's what I used:
bloody mary rebel eyeshadow in hot pink, and in black
l'oreal wear infinite eyeshadow in pure silver
milani eyeshadow in moonlight [which you can't even see anyways]
rimmel eyeliner in black
max factor 2000 calorie mascara
some cheap wet-n-wild hot pink lipstick
1] basically what I did was I started out with the moonlight all over my lid, up to my eyebrows. make sure to really pack it in up on the brow bone/under eyebrows.
2] then I applied the silver eyeshadow all over the lid, except for the inner part.
3] after that I put some of the black on the outer lid. it's going to be messy but a good trick is to go back later with a q-tip that has a little makeup remover on it to clean up the edges *which is what I did* I took it a little step further and using the same brush that had the black on it *but DON'T apply anymore!* and extended the black out to the ends of my eyebrows. it kinda reminds me of "queen of the damned" haha
4] black is kinda tough to blend so I ended up putting a bit more silver on just to help with that.
5] apply some of the hot pink to the inner lid but don't blend toooo much. you don't want to mush the colors up and the pink should stand out from the silver/black.
6] add eyeliner/mascara and finish the face *which I didn't do, because my skin was freaking out...I have something to help with that now! expect better full-face shots from now on haha*
7] I wore lipstick! that wasn't red! I don't have a pink lip liner so I very carefully used the edge of the lipstick to apply. I think it looked cute with the shadow, I might brave it again.
and that's it!
