what I used:
mac rebel rock blue pigment all over browbone & lid
milani atlantis *which is a clone of mac's electric eel only cheaper* from middle of lid to outer edge and half under eye
mac aquadisiac middle of lid
mac chrome yellow inner lid and half under eye
sephora eyeliner in black
smashbox photo finish foundation primer all over face & eyelids
maybelline wonderfinish foundation in light
I basically only did the one eye because I was just testing this combination out to see how I liked it.
WHAT NOT TO DO!
this was a cute idea, but don't take the blue all the way up to the eyebrow. it's entirely too much haha. I'm going to be getting a mac color called "nylon" soon which is a good highlight and it would pair nicely with the chrome yellow. so in the future that is what I'm going to be using haha.
so here's what I did
1] prepped skin with the primer as usual. applied the blue pigment all over eyelid, leaving out the inner part *I wanted the yellow to be yellow, not green*
2] applied milani's atlanis on top of the pigment on my lid, concentrating it mostly on the outer edges and a little in crease.
3] added mac's aquadisiac to the middle of lid, lightly blending it with the atlantis.
4] using a concealer brush *the bristles are more firmer, it packs color on better and more precisely* I added the chrome yellow to the inner corners of my eye. very carefully I blended it just a touch but mostly just packed it on. I also added a little bit underneath my eye.
5] eyeliner, curl those lashes and mascara em up!
6] added foundation. I did this afterwards because pigments can be messy and I had to clean the blue up a bit.
