what I used: smashbox photofinish foundation primer maybelline wonderfinish foundation in light mac gesso eyeshadow [from lid to brows] bloody mary rebel goth eyeshadow in hot pink mac budding beauty eyeshadow [on top of hot pink] mac chrome yellow [inner corners] sephora eyeliner in black max factor 2000 calorie mascara what I did: prepped my face with moisturizer about a half hour before starting my makeup. then I applied the smashbox all over, including my eyes *until I can get my hands on an eye primer* then I applied mac's gesso from my upper lashline to my brows. I concentrated it mostly on my brows since it would be used as a highlight but I also had a generous amount on my lids to enhance the colors that would go on top. blended evenly up to my brows. applied the hot pink eyeshadow, starting from the middle of my lashline and bringing it out towards the outer edges. I did this over and over again til I got a nice even line and a cute little flip at the end *though I had help with the cat-eye from an angled paintbrush haha* I made great care to leave the inner lids plain except for the gesso since that's where the yellow would be going. on top of the hot pink I added mac's budding beauty which surprisingly made the pink even brighter. it also helped keep it from migrating into my crease like it usually does when I use the hot pink. this also softened the top edge of the hot pink, ever so slightly so that it wasn't so harsh. then I took a stiff bristled brush and applied mac's chrome yellow. this took awhile to build up to the way I liked it. incredibly gently I blended it with the pink but not at a lot. just enough to where they weren't completely seperated but I wanted to keep it from becoming too orangry in between. I also added a touch to the lower lashline as well as some of the pink to the outer lower lashline. eyeliner, curled lashes, mascara and voila!

I have been DYING to try this one out haha, it was so much fun. I really need to get a good base though because by the end of the night you could barely see the yellow =/
hot topic, if you can buy online or get to a store, has the bloody mary eyeshadows in the cosmetics section. they're not the absolute best, but they carry some bright colors. there's eye smudges and the regular powder shadows.

hun gorgeous as usual btw (since i havent been here for a while) I wanted to tell you that I got 2 mac liquid lasts (point black and dress khaki) I love them! I would prefer the brush to be a little firmer though. I wear liner on my waterline (top and bottom) and it lasts beautifully all day. doesnt smudge and you have a little bit of time to fix it if you mess up when applying it. lasts all day and not to hard to get off at night (i used warm water and it came off). however id say this is because i used it on my waterline. my mum tried them (she has sensitive eyes) and she applied it on the top outer lid - omg and it lasts! lol but what gorgeous colours - dress khaki has flecks of gold and is my fav. and point black is true black - i love it and I have to get powerplum and greenplay because they look gorgeous too lol anyway im off to bed

niiice, liquid liner kinda scares me but I'm really getting sick of my pencil ones wearing off and migrating all over the place. especially the sephora one, I use it all the time but I don't know why because it's AWFUL! the color payoff is great but it just ends up all over the place *the other night I saw my friend's band play and I looked like someone rubbed eyeliner all over by the end of the night---AND NOBODY TOLD ME IT LOOKED LIKE THAT! gah!*
so I don't know, I may have to invest in one just to have decent eyeliner. I heard the fluidliners were really good for staying power too.
thursday the new collection, lure/bait/hooked comes out and OMG! the one tinted lip conditioner looks so awesome. and one of the lipglasses, sex ray, is such a pretty color. I have no idea what I'm going to walk away with haha.

I am sooooo in love with my lip conditioner, I'll be really sad when it runs out because I can't afford a backup. hopefully I can get one off of someone later for not a ridiculous price.

ooh you tried this look?! that makes me so happy that someone would try out a look I did *blush*
urban decay primer potion, it costs $14.00US but it's absolutely worth the price. it makes your eyeshadow stay on and keeps it from smudging about. I just posted a look that I wore last night for nine inch nails and my makeup stayed just as bright as it was when I first did it.
