heyaaaa. i was thinking of having my hair a bleached blonde colour and was wondering if anyone knew if i would have to let colours i have already died in grow out or not(if i was to have it done by a hairdresser)? and about how much you think it would cost?
and if it would be just as good if i let the old dye grow out and do it at home?
and most importantly if you think it would look good on me or like crap =p (be honest lol)
thanksies xXx

I've dyed, bleached, anything you can think of to my hair. lol
Anyways, it depends on what color your hair is now. If your hair Black-Dark Brown than it may take more than one bleach job to make it blonde, cause it will be that ugly orangish color if you don't. Also, I recomend to buy Manic Panic's Flash lightening bleach kit I think its about $15. Its the best bleach kit I've ever used (and I've used many) and get the 40 volume if you want it really Platinum.

Great tips! Yeah if your hair is dark i'd personally have it done at the hair dressers, i've had a few disasters with mine in the past. Mine went white once!

yeah mine's dyed a sorta dark red/brown at the moment which is why i thought it'd be better having it done at a hairdressers.

Ola chickabum, as you can see in my myspazz pics, my hair is often white. If you wana get to light very quickly, bleach the whole of your hair to an orangy colour (you can't leave it in, it will kill your hair) then leave it a week or so, using loads of conditioner every time you wash your hair (I use Tresemme, you can get that in huge bottles) then do it all over again, but for not as long. Get someone to help you too to get the coverage all even. I use B-Blonde, you can get it in Boots and Superdrugs, 4 packets of bleach for 4/5 quid, peroxide (make sure it's the purple bottles) for about £1.50. You'll need 1 bottle per packet of bleach, approx 1 or two of each for your whole head, depending on length. Use hair products for blonde hair, as these will keep it light, and if you want to get it proper white after getting it really blonde, use La Riché Directions White Toner, dunno where you can get it in Liecester, but they sell it by the gallon in Camden (well narrrr), you can also get it online ;D If you want any more follical assistance, let me know on msn. I've got hairdressers on standby
