need some honest opinions. every few months or so i try to get an email out to all wtd members in the hopes it will bring more back to visit and become more active. however recently, i seem to notice people deleting thier accounts from the forum, after reciving the emails. should i send out emails anyways or just let people do what they want?  |

hmm..chances are they're the people who dont post anyway i'm guessing?
i dunno lol. i quite like the little friendly email in my inbox =] maybe that's just me.

Yeah I definitely agree with Foblin. The email will always bring back a few people who forgot about the forum or just plain lost the link. I would keep it up.
How much time do you have for the website right now? Maybe a little site promotion would bring in some fresh members? I love this forum and I know id love it even more if it was a little more active. I submit Dark Star Poetry to writing listings and proboard link sites.. I should be doing another round in the next few days.. If you want I can post all the links f or you here so that you can submit as well?

I used to go crazy with promoting. i also had mods helping me as well. ive been slacking off since starting college last fall. any help would be GREAT. I had my link listed in various places (ive posted in this section i believe)
