a slow thought brought to a standstill as i shift and warp.. brain switching too quick to keep up i slip a dreamscape unfolds dark edges and fields that end too quickly. strong colours - lush grass against corpses of orange tan gray. no blood.
i walk. emotionless.. uncaring, i push. forward through this strangely lit tunnel i burrow.
skeletons hug thighs, old, ancient bones hanging from corpses -fresh-? i freeze as the scene BURSTS to life horses gallop and trample.. bones now proper, pushing muscle through this twilight landscape.. night mares tear through the wind. edges tremble. terror soaks damp skin as the pained crunch of a broken neck in a dream-fall hits
corners fold and i slip unmoving and alive back to the world of the wake.
there were no white horses.
_____ Based on a dream I had a few months ago.. Cant get it out of my head.
