As well as the patrons and staff in our local pub. They were trying not to stare...awesome.
The prosthetic took a few days to make from start (casting his face) to finish (casting the prosthetic), then I stuck it on and seamed the edges (took about 40 minutes), and then painted it and the surrounding skin, giving him a black eye in the process. The makeup I used is wicked, it's about £85 a pop, but unless you use Isopropyl Alcohol to scrub it off, it'll be on your skin for nearly a month. We're gonna paint on some drunk people with it.

Wow, that's really technical. I would have just grabbed something sharp.

This way is less painful and we can go haywire with our imagination. He's a valuable guy on my production team anyway, I wouldn't wana be in his bad books by disfiguring him...
But it is like you said, very technical. The amount of glazed over faces I get when I try to explain the processes is beyond me. I guess it shows that although SFX is an incredibly desirable aspiration, it's not for everyone. Between you n me, most of the time it's boring as fuck, but I'm not that much good at anything else...
Anyways, got another one or two makeup jobs to complete/portfolio shoot in the next 2 weeks, then I should be working at the London Dungeon design department over Easter, (whilst arranging a photoshoot at one of the weekends), then after that I'll be working on making a functional speaker/sculpture system. At some point I need to try n squeeze in the indie film I was offered a job on.
