It snowed here on friday and by saterday morning the ground was lightly covered in snow. Winter has definately made itself known. Fall is my favorite time of the year yet always seems to fly by.
I'm not looking forward to the cold. My body aches with the temp in the 30's now.
I grew up in Wisconsin and used to go to school in shorts and a sweatshirt. Why is it now that winter pains me?
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. I'm going to Kentucky to see the family. Southern family that really knows how to cook. Recently one of my aunts had a small stroke. It's time to visit. I have always thought of my aunts as these immortal beings but now they are so much older and getting sick. I must face reality.
I found a new fun workout, Hip Hop abs. We'll see how it goes. Kicks my butt already but then I had gotten lazy.
I'm sorry for rambling, not sure why I'm going in this train of thought. I haven't posted in awhile so am just letting everyone know I'm good and hello!

YAY FOR WEED. Just thought I'd share some insight on the life of Violet  I have been having a heated debate with a Fine Art student from my uni about "real" art. I dislike Fine Art students because they're all full of themselves and look down on people like us Techies (that's what Special Effects students are called) The irony is that, techies have 100% employment rate when they graduate, Fine Art is something like 2%. First off, I show him a drawing I did (took me a few seconds) on the glorious Facebook application, Graffiti. Incase you don't know, it's a calming plum.  Anyways, he says that it's a big pile of shit, and all "cartoon" drawings are. I explain to him that it's no Michaelangelo because it literally took me a minute or so. He says that it's no excuse for poor art. So I get miffed and tell him "WELL YOU GO FUCKING DO BETTER THEN"...  Well, roffle all over the world. What the hell is this? He THEN claims that you can't do REAL art on a computer, let alone some "crappy" Facebook application. Hence the pyar rubbishness. Then continues the whole "I'm better than you at art because my course has the word "fine" in it" waffle. 90 minutes later  He tells me to go forth and multiply  Bahaha. What a tit. |

HOTT DAMN VIOLET. You did those on graffiti?! I couldnt do that to save my life. Im going to school for the same thing is you...graphic arts. i enjoyed the photo, art aspect but i tend to dislike the 2d internety aspect, like making layouts and buttons and stuff a bit more than i should.

I didn't do the second one, I'd die from shame! I could draw better than that at the age of 4.
I'm not a Graphic Design student hun! I'm a Theatre Design student! Specificially, I'm majoring in Special Effects and minoring in The History of Theatre Design. Almost exclusively 3D modelling XD I only drew that to prove a point, I'm that childish.
